Kindergarten Newsletter
March 2nd- March 6th
Life happened. ☹ I do not have a
fancy newsletter for this week, but we can survive with this! Haha! 😊
We are going to celebrate Dr. Seuss this week! We will have a blast! We won’t
be dressing up real fancy but that’s ok. We’ll make it up in the classroom. We
will also keep moving and grooving with our reading and math. We’ve done so well
with our short /a/ and short /e/ words. We will move into short /i/. /e/ and /i/
are always the hardest vowels to learn because the sound so much alike. It’s a
very common mistake and we will work toward handling those mistakes. 😊
Monday: Dr. Seuss Birthday – Lorax Day!
Tuesday: Cat in the Hat Day! We will wear our
homemade hats and doing all things Cat in the Hat! We also have a special
visitor coming to read to us in the Library!
Wednesday: 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Day!
Wear Red or Blue!
Thursday: Green Eggs and Ham Day! I’m going to cook
them green eggs and ham at snack time! 😊
Friday: Fox in Socks Day! Dr. Seuss’ K5 Birthday
Party!! HAPPY 116TH BIRTHDAY! Wear your CRAZIEST socks!

Upcoming Events:
3/5- Spring picture day! I’m asking about uniforms
or not.
3/9- I’ll be out for an appointment
3/12- 3/17- Book Fair! We will go to visit/ buy
each day at 2:00. Feel free to come with or just send money. We will send home
a wish list once we go visit.
3/19- Habitat Projects Due!
3/20- Scholastic Order Due!
3/21: Emerson’s 6th Birthday!
3/23- SPRING BREAK!
4/2- National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day!
4/3- Noon Dismissal
4/9- Easter Party (Rowdy, Briar, and Harper Lee)
4/10- Good Friday!
